About the Blog

Good in Finance tells about the “good face” of finance and the eternal struggle with his “dark side”. It does so with passion and com-passion: passion for human relationships – because finance relies on credit-debt relationships – comp-passion (in the etymological sense of “cum patior”) for what finance pretends to support: aspirations, ideas, sacrifices, troubles.

“Good news” and “Bad news” from the financial world are explained and reasoned by the author of the blog – as well as the guest bloggers selected among international academics and scholars – placing scientific research in the service of an easy understanding and an alternative perspective of the events.

Good in Finance is the compass for the ecological finance: here, data and statistics do not live undisturbed by themselves, as occurs in the house of the degraded communication. The interpretation of the financial issues goes beyond numbers and techniques and leads to visions and solutions inspired by a careful approach to value creation, distribution of wealth, financial and social inclusion, in short: the economics of wellness.

Good in Finance does not take into account only traditional finance: microcredit, social impact finance, finance for culture and visual arts, are natural pillars of this blog.

Good in Finance is an atelier of the financial thinking, where experts, professionals, curious people, customers, students, and inspired policy makers, can feed analytic perspectives, interpretations and solutions too often neglected by popular financial communication.
